Same logic for morning windows. A "7–9 AM" first-thing promise only works if a tech is actually staged to roll at 7. If your crew starts at 8, say "8–10 AM." Customers forgive a later window you keep. They don't forgive an early one you blow.
Decide your premium policy now, not on the phone at 11 PM. Plenty of shops charge an after-hours or emergency rate for roll-now calls; plenty waive it to win the job and the review. Either is fine. What's not fine is the person answering the phone improvising the policy call by call. Write it down with the triage rules.
